One of the stars joining this year’s AirSHOW Radom 2025 is UH-60M Black Hawk, the icon of contemporary aviation representing Slovakian Air Force. This versatile transport helicopter is not only a support for numerous armies of the world, but also a star of action films. It features such productions as Black Hawk Down, Transformers, Iron Man or Sicario. There will now be an opportunity to see it live – at a very close distance, without the special effects we can see on the screen.
It is a great opportunity to take a close look at this state-of-the-art and versatile helicopter, to take a peek inside, touch the equipment that pilots use in real-life missions and talk to the crew. UH-60M is a machine with a rich operational history, widely used by armed forces all over the world, and an icon of contemporary battlefields we are well familiar with thanks to films and TV series.

What makes Black Hawk so special?
- Power and reliability – UH-60M is the most recent version of this legendary helicopter manufactured by Sikorsky. The machine is equipped with two turbine engines which provide excellent performance in any conditions.
- Combat equipment – the aircraft may carry armed troops, military equipment, external sling loads, and also act as an evacuation or rescue platform.
- State-of-the-art avionics – the UH-60M version includes a digital cockpit display (glass cockpit), GPS/INS navigation systems and advanced means of communications, which significantly improves crew efficiency and mission safety.
- Global footprint – over 4,000 aircraft used all over the world, including by the U.S. Army, NATO forces and numerous allied countries, with Slovakia having joined the group recently.
