Lockheed C-130 Hercules is a medium-size transport aircraft which, since its debut in the 1950s, has been one of the pillars of military transport aviation across the world. Designed for operations in the most demanding conditions, Hercules is perfect both on regular runways and in accidental regions where other machines simply can’t make it.
C-130 Hercules may be used for performing a great deal of tasks, such as:
- special operations,
- transport of troops and equipment,
- medical evacuation,
- airdrops of cargo and paratroopers,
- humanitarian and rescue missions,
- tanking in the air (in specialised versions).
